Overnight Oats are the absolute hit this year!

But what makes them so popular? In a nutshell: They are not only extremely quick to prepare, but also keep you feeling full for a long time and can be refined as desired.

Whether you love berries, chocolate, nuts, or Krunchy. Or maybe you're a fan of pure enjoyment. Overnight Oats can be adapted to every taste, as they can be refined with almost any ingredient.

And the health aspect also speaks for this year's breakfast trend, which is better for the body than porridge.

But what exactly are Overnight Oats?
As the English name suggests, Overnight Oats are oats soaked overnight. This means you can prepare them casually the evening before and enjoy them at your leisure the next morning. Thanks to the many important vitamins like B1, B6, and biotin, the cereal flakes also contain minerals like zinc, iron, and magnesium, as well as fiber, which keeps you feeling full for a long time.

The healthy alternative to regular porridge
In addition to the long-lasting satiety, this year's breakfast trend also supports stable blood sugar levels. The reason for this is the beta-glucan contained in the grain, which also has a positive effect on cholesterol levels.

But what exactly makes Overnight Oats so much healthier than regular porridge? It's all about soaking the oats - whether in water or (plant) milk. This reduces the phytic acid content of the cereal flakes, which normally binds minerals and vitamins. This allows your body to absorb the nutrients better.

Furthermore, it is said that vitamins are lost in porridge due to heating. With Overnight Oats, this step is eliminated.

And how do I best make Overnight Oats myself?
It's quick and easy: simply grab 50 grams of oats - we recommend our Oat Flakes, of course ;) - and 150 milliliters of liquid for soaking, whether (plant) milk or water.
Simply put both ingredients in a container, mix well, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or even overnight - and that's it. Afterwards, you can refine your Overnight Oats with toppings of your choice. Berries, nuts, and chocolate, for example, go very well with them.
Our tip: Your favorite Krunchy gives Overnight Oats the perfect crunch and taste!

If you like it a bit sweeter, we recommend maple syrup or honey.
Health-conscious individuals can add chia or flax seeds, for example, which are a good source of omega-3.

With that in mind, we wish you a lot of fun preparing and bon appétit.
