Hilarius is Barnhouse's very first farmer

You've probably already noticed that we place great importance on regionality. That's why we have a fruitful, equal partnership with our almost 90 organic farmers. Our partner farmers' fields can be a maximum of 100 km away from us, with the majority even within a 50 km radius.

One of them is Hilarius Häußler from Gallenbach. His farm is not even 20 km as the crow flies from Barnhouse - we are practically neighbors. ;) He has been part of the delivery community with our organic farmers since the beginning and thus plays a major role in the great cooperation.

Hilarius passionately tends to his farm, where he grows, for example, oats for your Krunchy. We always enjoy visiting him to capture cool impressions of the origin of your muesli for you. Recently, for example, we accompanied him during the cultivation of his oats, and he gave us some of his green oats to make oat tea. You can find the recordings on Instagram and Facebook.

But that's not all. Hilarius and his wife Claudia have converted the inn, which used to be part of the farm, into a wonderful event venue. We always enjoy inviting our Barnhouse farmers here for information evenings and workshops.
