The accessibility requirements for our online services are based on the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG), in particular § 14 BFSG in conjunction with § 3 (1) BFSG with reference to the Ordinance on the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSGV). The specific requirements are based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), version 2.2 with conformity levels A and AA.

2) Explanations on how to use the service and its functions

2.1 Virtual buttons

This website can be operated using virtual buttons.

2.2 Home, overview and detail pages

On the home page, you will find a selection of products on offer in the central area of the page. By interacting with a product presentation, you will be taken to the respective product detail page.

In the header menu, you can navigate between the different product categories. After selecting a category, you will be taken to an overview page where all products in this category are displayed.

By interacting with a product presentation on the overview page, you will be taken to the corresponding product detail page.

In addition to all essential information about the product and the total price, the product detail pages also contain a quantity selection element and a shopping basket button.

2.3 Electronic shopping basket

By clicking on the shopping basket button, you add the product (in the selected quantity) to the electronic shopping basket.

This electronic shopping basket can be accessed at any time via the header menu.

Here you can first check the products you have added. You can remove products or change the order quantity using the corresponding buttons.

You can also enter voucher codes.

2.4 Electronic ordering process

After checking your order, you can complete the electronic ordering process by clicking on the corresponding buttons.

To do this, you will first be asked to enter your contact details (at least your name, email address and delivery or billing address) in the input mask.

Finally, you can choose one of the available payment methods, enter the necessary payment details and complete your order.

The order is only binding once you have clicked on the button provided for this purpose on the final order page. This button is labelled ‘Place order’ or another clear wording.

Before clicking this order button, you can use the ‘Back’ button on your browser to navigate back to the previous steps at any time and/or cancel the order process at any time.

If you have chosen to pay using an online payment method, you will be redirected from the final order page to the payment provider's system to make the payment.

3) Legal requirements for accessibility

As an online shop, this website is classified as a ‘service in electronic commerce’ and is characterised by its electronic ordering and payment options.

It is subject to special legal requirements regarding accessibility.

In general, this website must provide functions and procedures that are tailored to the needs of people with disabilities and enable usability with digital aids.

The online shop functions of this website must therefore be designed to be

- perceivable

- operable

- understandable

- robust.

Perceptibility means that the information and components of the online shop are presented in such a way that they are easily perceptible to all users.

Usability requires that the functions of the online shop can also be used by users with mobility or intellectual impairments.

Comprehensibility requires that the information and functions of the online shop are logically structured, easily recognisable and unambiguously labelled.

Finally, robustness requires that the content and functions of the online shop can be used reliably and without restrictions, even if users employ digital aids.

If the online shop sells products that are subject to their own accessibility requirements, information on accessible use must be provided for such products, where available.

4) Available aids for barrier-free use

This website meets accessibility requirements through the following measures:

Alt text for images: Images in the online shop are provided with alternative text that gives a brief description of the image and can be processed by screen readers (screen reading aids).

Usability with mouse and keyboard: The online shop functions can be operated with both a mouse and a keyboard. The mouse pointer can be moved and activated in the online shop using the control keys on the keyboard.

Browser-independent page output: The content and functions of this website are available in identical layout, alignment and resolution regardless of the browser used.

Cascading Style Sheets (CSS): A programming language is used that separates the presentation of the page content in terms of layout, colour and design from its content structure. This enables digital aids to use their own visibility schemes to display the page content.

Verified correctness of HTML codes: All HTML codes are permanently checked for functionality in order to rule out functional failures and the inability to be captured by digital aids.

Sufficient spacing between characters: Characters are displayed with sufficient spacing between them so as not to impair readability

Compatibility with screen readers: The content of the online shop is compatible with all common screen readers (Bilds
