According to oral tradition, the Stettner Hof has been owned by the Huber family since the 17th century and has been inherited ever since.
The 26-hectare farm is run by Hans Huber as a part-time job and focuses primarily on the production of forage, as the family business focuses on breeding and keeping horses. In addition to horses, there are also sheep on the farm and not to be forgotten: arable farming with oat cultivation for Barnhouse.
Since 1978 the farm has been converted to organic and was first a member of Demeter, then switched to Naturland in 1995. As motivation for the change, Hans tells us that his eldest daughter was born. Like many other organic farmers, he also wanted an agriculture that is sustainable and that makes the world a little bit better.
