2nd place at the Regional-Star Award

We achieved an outstanding second place at the Regional-Star Award and are absolutely thrilled about it! 🎉

With this award, Grüne Woche and the trade magazine Lebensmittel Praxis annually honor regional concepts from the food retail sector. According to the organizers, the award evaluates products and concepts that break new ground and strengthen regional value creation in the retail sector.

The cooperation with our regional Barnhouse farmers, who grow organic oats and spelt within a 100-km radius of Barnhouse, made it into the top 3 in the “Processing” category amid fierce competition under the motto “Taking Regional Organic Farming to the Next Level.”
At the end of January, Barnhouse Marketing Director Andreas (left) once again presented our project to the high-caliber jury at Green Week in Berlin: the cultivation of organic grains by partner farmers from the region, which are then flaked at the PrimaVera Mill, located just 3 km from Barnhouse.& nbsp;At the awards ceremony that evening, we were honored to receive the certificate for second place. This is a wonderful recognition not only for us, but also for our farmers!
