"The path is made by walking"

Suckler cow husbandry, pigs, chickens - all of this can be found on Hans Glück's 19-hectare farm. The Biokreis farmer runs a family business together with his wife Jutta, on the next to the Barnhouse Grain, potatoes and field vegetables are also grown. His products can then be bought directly in his own farm shop.

He certainly gets support from his two children and five grandchildren, for whom life on their grandfather's farm must be great fun

The business has been owned by the Glück family since 1910, and in 1981 it was converted to organic. "I'm an organic farmer because for me it's one of the most fulfilling jobs there is," explains Hans.

"Above all, I want to show that there is another way," adds the farmer.
