Johann Huber & Uta
The Stettner Hof was founded in the 17th century. In the 18th century it was owned by the Huber family and has since been handed over in sucession.
The 26-hectare farm is managed by Hans Huber as a part-time business and has it’s main focus in the production of fodder, as the family business focuses on horse breeding and rearing. In addition to horses, you can also find sheep on the farm and not to forget: the agriculture with oats for Barnhouse
Since 1978 the farm has been converted to organic farming and was first a member of Demeter, then changed to Naturland in 1995. Hans cites the birth of his eldest daughter as the motivation for the change. Like many other organic farmers, he wanted an agriculture that was sustainable and that made the world a little better.
